Today is a historic day in my mind. End Starvation Foundation has its first donor pledge $30 per month to fund the operation of the foundation. I am grateful to God and to the donor, whose name I withhold for reasons of privacy, but I can say that he is a Christian man from Texas.. This is very encouraging. With $1.5 billion per day, starvation can be eradicated, potable water provided, and orphans and widows cared for around the world. $30 a month from 1.5 billion donors will end starvation. The silver bullet, the cure, is to care.

It Takes Time and Perseverance

There is no way to know why we sometimes have to wait a long time for certain things or answers….but remember that eternity is a long time, and what to us seems a long time is, to God, a moment. He is in control and He knows why He does what He does when He does it. It is our job to do as He says. We already know the final outcome.

The latest poem:

Broken Shells

Mighty as broken eggshells

Strewn along the road

Something tells me that most of us

Bear less than half the load

Of their responsibility

Within the church of God

As capable ambassadors

Of the only One who’s good.

I’m starting now to understand

That this is partly due to

That few of those who teach of Him

Are teaching what is true

To those who need to know about

How they must be saved

And so they walk in ignorance and

Unwisely have behaved.

Open up your Bible and

Compare it to the word

Of the preacher on the pulpit

Who too often seems absurd

Then read God’s word in prayerfulness

And often you will find

That the pedants who now speak of Him

Are functionally blind

As though their fleshly eyes could see

While they’ve lost their Christly mind.

Don’t follow shallow teachers

Who pretend to speak for Christ

Whose teachings don’t compare to his

Whose message is not spiced

With the message of the gospel

That divides us like a knife

Sending goats away who won’t obey

The words that offer life.

Don’t waste your time with preachers

Who won’t preach what God requires

For only will he find the truth

Who after truth inquires.

What is truth, someone might ask

And I will answer in a trice:

Those words lack truth that don’t agree

With the doctrine of Jesus Christ.

The Latest

The anthology is now available online, on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Google, and will soon be available on this site’s webstore. Poems & Songs for Christ.

I am working on the second anthology now, which may be done within the year. And I have typed up my three short stories, titled Trio of Short Stories for Christ.

Kyle Ingalsbe is setting up the site to take your payments and donations. Hope to be up and running soon.

So far, no positive responses from billionaires. Maybe soon.

Here is the latest poem:

Seek First the Kingdom

There is nothing, nothing at all,

Nothing at all that Christ cannot do.

He is through whom God created life,

So, why can’t He give life to you?

Everything the Father has given

To the Son to reign as our king,

And raised Him up as proof of his power

To give us life and everything.

From the East and from the West

They will come to sit at his table,

All whom the Lord of life resurrects,

He to fulfill his promise is able.

There is nothing, nothing at all,

Nothing at all his people will lack.

Rejoice now and trust in his promise:

Jesus Christ is soon coming back.

So remember, do not forget,

He’s returning on Judgment Day

To reward those who do his will,

But to destroy those who don’t obey.

Serve the king and you will lack nothing –

He has great riches waiting for you,

Real life in union with the great Spirit

Of the One who’s returning for you.
